In a unexpected collaboration that defies usual predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Mission Uncovered
According to the official announcement, "A mysterious meeting leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where hints of banned practices and terrifying metamorphoses echo through the obscurity." The narrative features a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a secret cult.
The adventure concentrates on "strange tests and a fearsome adversary" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Transformations
The teaser showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer ends with a dramatic moment showing a character, presumably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Prizes and Additional Features
Players who accomplish the adventure will receive an exclusive katana together with multiple items secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
